Top Prom Picks for Columbia & Northern Dutchess Counties
Prom is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting times in high school. But having no experience (or older siblings), it can be hard to know where to start with your planning.
Luckily, I am here to help! I've done a poll to find out which local vendors and venues are popular among local prom-goers. Here are the results!

Dress Shops: David's Bridal and Chic Boutique topped the poll with honorable mentions to Camille La Vie, Xenas Bridal, and Lord & Taylor
Tux Shops: Men's Warehouse and Sapersteins (518-789-3365) were the favorites and Tuxedo Junction was in there, too
Hair and Makeup: Hair Studio One, Sephora, and Jennifer Hetherington were all popular answers, and I must add in a shameless plug here for my makeup artist extraordinaire Kelsie Wessel, who can be reached at kelsie.wessel.beauty@gmail.com or 518-965-6154

Flower Shops: Several made the list--Hugs and Kisses, Chatham Flowers, Wonderland Florist, Kamilla's Floral Boutique, and I should also mention Country Gardeners Florist (where I used to work!)
Places to take photos before prom: Everyone likes outdoor photos, there's no doubt about that. Many answered that they like to take them at their houses, or near a lake or pond, but some specific mentions were Shadows on the Hudson and the gardens at Bard College.
Places to hang out after prom: Surprisingly, many of you like to go directly home! Other popular answers were designated after prom parties and bonfires.

Which will you choose to be a part of your prom experience?
