Dutchess County, NY Photographer | What to expect of your senior portrait session
This week I'm writing a series of blog posts to help rising high school seniors get to know more about JenniWaka Photography. Yesterday I wrote about the package options available for the Class of 2018. Today I'd like to let you know what to expect when you've chosen me to capture your senior portraits.
First
As soon as you have booked your senior session with me, we'll begin planning via phone, email, or even in person. Do you have a style or feel in mind? I've scouted out many locations in the area that I'll tailor to match it. Are you on Pinterest? If so we can create a private group board and brainstorm poses and props you like. And when you start choosing outfits? Text me as many pictures as you want so we can figure out what will look best on camera.
Second
Your photo session should be a fun experience! If you'd like, you can bring along a friend or family member who'll make you laugh. I'll give you some guidance on poses, but much of what we do will be natural and relaxed. I'll make sure your hair looks nice, your clothes are in place, and your pose is on point. All you need to do is smile at my dorky jokes!
Third
A week or two after your photo shoot we'll have your Reveal & Order Session. We'll find an evening when you and your parents can all be there, and I will come right to your house. We'll watch a slideshow of your images, oohing and aahing the whole time. Then I'll show you samples of the products I offer and we'll put together an order that is perfect for you!
